5 Sanderson Farms® Chicken Drumsticks
1/4 cup lime juice
2 tablespoons soy sauce
3 tablespoons olive oil
1 1/2 tablespoons salt
1 tablespoon light brown sugar
1/4 teaspoon ground red pepper
2 teaspoons ground allspice
2 teaspoons ground black pepper
1/4 teaspoon ground nutmeg
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon onion powder
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1. Preheat oven to 400°F.
2. Mix lime juice, soy sauce, olive oil, salt, brown sugar, red pepper, allspice, black pepper, nutmeg, cinnamon, onion powder and garlic powder in a small bowl.
3. Pour lime juice mixture in a sealable plastic bag.
4. Add chicken to the bag and toss to coat.
5. Seal bag and refrigerate at least one hour.
6. Remove chicken from marinade, allowing excess to drip off.
7. Place chicken in lightly greased 8 X 11.5 X 2-inch (2-quart) baking dish.
8. Bake, uncovered, in preheated 400°F oven 1 hour or until chicken is to an internal temperature of 190°F.
Note: Increase the red pepper for spicier chicken drumsticks.
Yield: 5 servings.
